It's snowing here again. Awoke to 2.5 inches and it's coming down good still. The nice thing about snow is that you can go tromping around in it. Sure, you might get a little cold, but you don't get soaked like if it were raining. Honestly, I prefer the snow to rain, because it doesn't keep you inside. Instead it begs you to come out and play, to laugh as you try and catch fat flakes on your tongue, to relish in the crunch underfoot, and enjoy the sweet stillness of the world around you as it snuggles under a blanket of snow. It amazes me that the leaves are still quite green and have barely turned yellow. It seems like a very late fall.
