This picture encompasses my entire morning. We woke up early for backcountry skiing in some north facing trees on the slope above my head. The east-facing open slope, which we were hoping to ski was completely sun-crusted, but we did two, perfect laps on 10420 in the trees. Then we came home, and we loaded up my latest painting to bring it from our cabin via snowmobile up and over the pass to our car and then the gallery. It's a new 54x36 encaustic for Gallery MAR here in Park City. It may officially be spring today, but it's still winter where I live.
