I am very excited to announce my representation with Old Main Gallery in Bozeman, MT. I've been admiring the work at this gallery and as luck would have it, they were admiring my work as well. So we made a happy agreement to work together. In June, we delivered a whole new slew of paintings up to Bozeman, so if you are in the area, please stop in to check out this gallery and my newest works.

From Old Main Gallery:

It is with great pleasure, we welcome Bridgette Meinhold to Old Main Gallery. Meinhold's affinity for the nature world can be seen in the laborious layers of her encaustic paintings, each layer revealing intimate memories of her interactions with the land. Treating each painting as an experiment to provoking memories and experiences of her time moving through the landscape, Meinhold's work establishes a personal connection with experience and place.

Bridgette Meinhold is a painter and illustrator from Park City, Utah. Observing and experiencing elongated moments in nature is where Meinhold's captivation's are held. Contemplating the slow progression of the seasons, the wind as it blows the snow off of trees, and the shifting light as the weather changes are what compels Meinhold to look to the future. Bridgette holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and a MS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. She has worked as a consultant helping companies work towards greater sustainability in their business practices as well as the expansion of wind energy. Meinhold is the former Architecture Editor at Inhabitat and the author of Urgent Architecture: 40 Sustainable Housing Solutions for a Changing World. Bridgette was an Artist in Residence with the Summit Group at Powder Mountain in 2015.
