Masking & Negative Painting Art Practice Class

This class focusses on how to keep your whites white and learn the important skill of negative painting. In this class you will learn multiple ways to mask including using frisking fluid (aka masking fluid) and how to achieve a similar result painting negatively instead of positively.

Each art practice class focuses on a basic skill, which we will explore and then apply to something that you can use in your own work. During the virtual class hour, I will give you examples of the skill used in works by master watercolor artists and then walk you through the lesson giving you time to practice along with me as you watch remotely from your own home. No need to go anywhere, no need to leave your house, just login to our private online classroom. Each class was filmed with live attendees who were able to ask questions via chat as I painted. At the end, there was time for Q&A to assist with any questions or problems students had along the way. Hopefully these help you as well in creating a better understanding of the class skill.
